It's a story of a boy named Soka from Nthuzi. He was a son of a maid to the deputy army commander Misozi, who was a rape victim. Differences between the army commander and his deputy led to a war which caused Lozi (Soka's mother) and her son flee into the forest. While in the bush Lozi fell sick as she was a person on medication and unfortunately died. This led to Soka being found at a refugee camp at the age of 10, fortunatly the officer at the refugee camp managed to connect him to misozi who had fleed to america. Misozi interestingly made arrangements for Soka to travel to america where he attended his school and became a graduate, later on attained a phd. After the death of Misozi, Soka returned back home, Nthuzi, where he became best president Nthuzi was yet to have.
